Good column, Richard. I admire that you can take a task as mundane as scooping up Master Dudley’s poop and turn it into a commentary about what is happening all around us with the CAFO installations that are ruining our water and the air we breathe. We all need to pay attention to what is happening. We are failing our children and our grandchildren.
I would call it astute, to take a task that many handle on a regular basis and turning it into a teaching moment is enlightening and brilliant! I salute you Richard!
Random thoughts, dear Richard. Then there's the issue of the plastic bags used gathering the poop. A million years ago I remember reading "water purifies every........feet", so figured it always got clean down stream......and as kids we never cleaned up after our dogs and there was no such thing as a leash (that I remember). Sigh, I sure do wish the good old days.

We do use biodegradable poop bags, but I get your point!
They've just installed poop disposable containers here, but bags are not biodegradable. Good thing to raise with HOA. Good points!
This article is some good shit!
Thanks Richard💕👋
Thank you. Well said.
