I do a lot of things. I watch the news but not nearly as much as I did. I get some of my news from the internet in small doses. I try to keep a positive attitude. I can vote, sign petitions, write/call congress people. I keep busy with working part time from home as a medical transcriptionist being an independent contractor. I go dancing at least 2 times a week, karaoke at least 1 time a week, I enjoy reading and try to stay away from heavy stuff but do like a variety of books, work on various projects I have in one stage or another. I find quiet time every day to just BE. Am in a social group that does various activities and meet or talk with friends when I can. Then do something real simple like just go for a drive with a friend/family member or by myself and try to unwind. I also pamper myself with a massage or getting my hair done or a very occasional pedicure. I remember the Serenity Prayer A LOT. Lots of things both worldwide and in my own family/friend circle and my life I cannot control so rely on God and prayers too. Loretta Quinnett

Thank you Julie. I learned a long time ago no one is going to treat me as well as I will treat myself and I only depend on myself to take care of myself. I think being raised by my grandparents taught me how to smell the roses and not constantly rush through without giving myself time to recharge.

Phyl and I are theater junkies and loved watching Schmigadoon (apple TV), a sendup of popular musicals from the 40's - 60's. We are catching up on many series that we missed during our working careers - Downton Abby, Unforgotten, Doc Martin, the new All Creatures Great & Small, Atlantic Crossing, and others from PBS. In addition to many of those mentioned in other comments (Lasso, The Morning Show, Dead to me, Tucci, etc.) last night we started catching up on Harry Potter movies from years past. I like the 'Righteous Gemstones' (HBO) but Phyl ... not so much. Have you seen 'Dickenson' from Apple tv? As to our frame of mind and mental health... let's say that The Serenity Prayer is my most used mantra in these times.

Julie—You must have misheard me. I didn’t say that Marriage at First Sight show was binge-worthy, I said it was cringe-worthy.

We're currently binging on SPEECHLESS on HULU about a family (mother, father, daughter and 2 sons) whose world centers on the wheelchair-bound son, J.J., with Cerebral Palsy who cannot speak. Believe it or not, it's a comedy. Minnie Driver is the super-advocate mother and Micah Fowler (who has CP in real life) plays J.J. Episode after episode we are reminded of the importance of the ADA. Thank you, Tom Harkin!

Ted Lasso, The Lincoln Lawyer, Good Luck to You, Leo Grande, and this weekend, The British Open. Got a friendly lecture from a new friend who said, "Stop watching the news....there's nothing you can do about it." Hmmmm, now there's a thought! Repeat Gratitude List over and over because there is so much to be grateful for. Did watch "Married At First Sight" 1st season. Maybe I'll take that up again......

A second for Stanley Tucci's travels around Italy finding wonderful food. The best series we have binged the past few years: Keeping Faith (Acorn); Hotel Portofino (PBS); Goliath (Am Prime); Ozark (Netflix); Bosch (Am Prime); Bosch Legacy (FreeVee); Longmire (Netflix).

Thanks for asking this question, Julie. In my guilty pleasures I binge watch Delicious Destinations and Family Dinner with Andrew Zimmern. I have logged multiple watches of Stanley Tucci as he searches for Italy. (To quote Trevor Noah “Stanley is playing CNN; he KNOWS where Italy is!”) What do I have to show for it -10 extra pounds that I swear I gained simply by watching 🙄! It does help to take trips to places we have been, but also so many we have not seen….yet! Dreaming big or small has always helped me get through most times that have been challenging.

For political drama, Borgen. For all of us political junkies, captures domestic, global and personal issues, including family vs. work, where to draw the line on ambition vs. personal values and even takes on Russia oil.

I would be binging Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+ but it was a way too short series. I loved it and wish they would continue it. I do get stuck sometimes, watching Hoarders on TrueReal or Pickers on Defy but if I don't start watching them in the morning I stay away the best I can. I'm coping, just fine. I think I've "found myself" and am enjoying my new life.
