I see a difference in the way protest poets put forth their statements and the way I try to persuade readers; I do it in a much gentler fashion. Maybe it's because my usual topic is nature but I prefer to just simply point out some minute piece of nature and hope that my readers catch on to the larger picture. But I am happy to see poetry used more and more and in the general population audience too. Thanks to all poets of today!
