I had to go to the ER this weekend (I'm fine now) and instead of taking my word that I was not pregnant, they ran a pregnancy test without asking me, along with a lot of other blood work they needed to see what was wrong. I wasn't prepared for how much that would upset me. It used to seem like a routine precaution. Now it seems like a potential threat.

What kind of pregnancy test?
It was a blood test. They needed to do blood tests for treatment, and they just tossed in a pregnancy test.
Quite chilling if it was done without your knowledge or consent.
