The writing, "Authoritatian America Happening Right Now." This article is in my save pile to send to my history major nephew who plans to leave Iowa after his Iowa University graduation.
Thank you Julie! I was so happy to see your video. I’m originally from Iowa. As a child we would go to Okoboji for our summer vacations. I have been so, so disappointed with Iowa politics. I know it is a good state with good people. I moved sometime ago but I do follow what is going on. I hope things get better for all of us. Thank you again!

I just got done submitting a few articles to the local weekly newspaper for their annual conservation/ag special edition. I never consider my writing very colorful compared to others but feel led to keep improving, thanks to you!
My wife and I fostered a young gay man for little over a year. I didn't realize the impact we had on him. But 12 years later he still tells us what a difference we made in his life. He now lives in North Carolina, he went with his partner of 5 years for better paying jobs. They had talked about moving back to Iowa this year. I really hope they do but I am not sure it would be a a wise idea at the moment. I pray the Iowa government has a change of heart and leadership.
