I have wanted to write you and tell you about a Niece of mine who wrote a book that got published called "The Saigon Sisters''. Google it and you can see some of what the book is about and some reviews of the book. I thot you might have her as a guest on your Monday mornings Zoom meetings. She has some roots in Iowa especially work as a Legislators secretary (Bob Anderson) in mid 1970s when I was a legislator. Take a look and see what you think.. Lowell Norland
I’m sorry to be so dense, Julie, but is your Potluck column not a part of the Iowa Writer’s Collaborative which I pay $75 to receive? Or, do you have a separate column for the benefit of your scholarships?
I know it’s complicated. The Iowa Writers’ Collaborative means we refer to one another, and the subscribers receive a weekly column with links from all members who posted that week. Those funds go toward group promotions and support. Individuals can subscribe to the columnists they want to support. For some, it is a needed source of income. Others, donate proceeds. My paid subscribers pay for scholarships to OWR. Does that make sense?

As a paid subscriber to Chuck Offenburger’s column, does that still make me a paid subscriber to Potluck?
Paid subscribers to this Potluck column support the scholarships for the Okoboji Writers' Retreat.
