I'm with you Julie. I cannot stand Chuck Grassley and from where I stand he has more than wore out his welcome in congress for representing us. I know he does NOT represent me. They advertise that he will get a lot done because of his "clout". ?? Methinks that all of this "clout" gives way too much power to some individuals and it goes to their heads. Congress is not supposed to be a lifelong career for anyone. I was in a doctor's office one day for a routine appointment and was delighted when the doctor came in and took a moment before starting with me to personally call the Grassley office (not have someone write or call for him) and inform him that he was highly displeased with him and would no longer ever be voting for him again. Made my day!! I know exactly to whom I will be casting my vote in the upcoming election. And I have never taken the right to vote for granted. I have missed very few elections (and usually due to illness, etc). I even voted in all the school elections too. Tell me there is an election and I'm there voting. L. Quinnett

Michael Franken will win on Nov. 8th on his 65th birthday. Spread the word and get 10 more people to vote for him now.

Is it time to take Chuck Grassley out to pasture?

Nobody has reported the likelihood that Grassley, if he wins, will retire after one year and Reynolds will appoint his grandson, the House speaker, to replace him. Consider the implications of that!

That certainly is the expectation. If Reynolds wins, she would appoint a GOP member.
