Anyone is welcome to accuse me of being an excuse making, Monday morning quarterback for saying this. I’m convinced that if the DNC’s, “brain trust of consultants”, had provided us with just a couple big name surrogate appearances, or maybe a day visit from the Harris/Walz team, along with our traditional 1st in the nation caucus, we’d have delivered at least two and possibly three congressional wins. Our candidates were really that good. We needed some serious publicity, forums and a few more donations. Do you think those seats would have mattered now? I do. Instead of giving swing state voters campaign fatigue and traffic jams, Iowa wouldn’t be bloody red today. Just the opinion of a long in the tooth Democratic voter who hasn’t forgotten what once was here.
Great post!
