I wish Admiral Michael Franken had won the senate seat when he ran. Iowa would have had a reliable voice in the senate. In watching the Zelensky attack at the White House and the follow up responses from Republican senators and representatives was unbelievable. Even the ones that had supported Ukraine were showering Trump with praise for his behavior. The only normal response came from Republican senator for Nebraska when he said he was ashamed of the treatment given Zelensky. I pray for Ukraine.

The bravest man in the world was bullied yesterday while in the USA White House. Regardless, his legend will stand.
