Sh*t Richard says will be an ongoing feature of your Potluck subscription. Reader Mike Pitchford suggested Richard’s views would be a welcome respite from my intense policy debates about current events. My husband has earned his columnist creds through the years, too. He was a young sportswriter, newspaper editor in Harlan, owner of the Eagle Grove Eagle, Governor Bob Ray’s press secretary, Marketing Director and ultimately president of The Des Moines Register. In addition, he has also held many other jobs where wearing a suit and tie were required and people called him ‘Mr. Gilbert.’

We have a very good time together.

You might not get a column tomorrow as we will both be yelling at the television set during the impeachment hearings. Then again, you might.

Below is Richard’s contribution. A letter to insurrection leader U.S. Senator Josh Hawley regarding disputing the results of yesterdays’ Super Bowl outcome. Hit the ‘like’ button. We want to encourage his participation.

To: Senator Josh Hawley:

As the senator representing the great state of Missouri, I ask for your wholehearted support in contesting the outcome of last night's Super Bowl. THE CHIEFS WON!!!!

I am inspired to ask for your assistance in light of your heroic stand against the election of the usurper who stole it from our great President Trump. I know you will stand up for the truth!

The 2021 Super Bowl was rigged! It was stolen from our Kansas City Chiefs, who had the overwhelming support of the American People and Missouri. 

There is overwhelming evidence of the steal and that it was engineered by a cabal of the NFL, which is dominated by billionaire owners of the majority of the teams. The same owners financed the lasers that started the California Forest Fires. 

Evidence includes that the NFL conspired to keep the American people in the dark even while the game was being broadcast. Consider these facts:

• The game was not broadcast on Fox, which is the only news outlet that is not Fake News.

  

• Over 30,000 of the seats at the stadium were filled with cutouts to keep real people from the red state of Florida to attend to witness the steal.

• The other 25,000 seats were filled with so-called health care heroes who had been injected with the bogus vaccines distributed by Biden's CDC, which actually contain miniature computer chips that attack the ability for a person to see or think. Witness the shots of Tom Brady's parents drinking champagne before the game was even over because they knew in advance that the game was rigged and he would win. 

• The scoreboard was from a Brazil manufacturer who installed bogus software that converted Kansas City's scores to the scores for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The actual score was Chiefs 31, Buccaneers 9.

  

• There were continued diversions during the broadcast to keep viewers from following the actual events. Most notably was when a spectator who slipped through the screen set up by the NFL and who had not been "vaccinated" and thus was still a thinking human ran out onto the field during the game to protest the steal. He took off his shirt to protest yelling "these liberals will take the shirt off your back," but the Fake News CBS coverage immediately cut away from the event and went to a commercial by Geico which features a talking lizard…talking if you can believe that!

  

• Both Brady and his pal Gronkowski are not true Americans at all, having spent most of their lives in Massachusetts, which we all know is so liberal that everyone voted for George McGovern and also elected the turncoat Mitt Romney governor. 

• The Kansas City Chiefs have been targeted by Cancel Culture Fanatics

  

  because they so far have refused to change their name to The Kansas City Football Team like the so-called team in Washington, DC. 

• Patrick Mahones was not in good shape for the game. The reason was that he had been out partying over a month ago with some Missouri Proud Boys and was invited to take part in the heroic effort to storm the Capitol to Stop the Steal. In the ensuing confusion, his right foot was tromped on by a guy with a horns helmet and seriously injured his foot. I know all Missourians appreciate your efforts behind the scenes to get Patrick back to Tampa in time for the game and that your aid was well-intentioned. But it was a case of too little too late. 

• There are emails between Tom Brady and the first woman NFL referee which suggests an ongoing relationship. One which you can enter into evidence is when she tells him she's always wanted to ride a GOAT.
