Our guests on August 12 will be C.J. Peterson, an Iowa delegate to the Democratic National Convention serving on the Rules Committee, and Adam Peters, a delegate to the convention who lives in the Quad Cities. The two have been leaders of the Iowa Democratic Party Stonewall Caucus since 2022 (C.J. served as chair for two years and took Adam over in 2024).
Adam recently made the Quad Cities Business Journal's 40 under 40 list for 2024 and is a national delegate to the Democratic National Convention, to be held August 19-22 in Chicago’s United Center.
Potluck readers will glimpse what these two delegates are thinking in the lead-up to the historic event when Vice President Kamala Harris becomes the party’s nominee for president.
